NASA's Kepler Mission Depicted in Dell’Osso Family Farm Corn Maze

At the Dell'Osso Family Farm event, a 20-acre maze will showcase the discoveries and images of the Kepler mission. By opening day, the maze is expected to grow to approximately ten-feet-tall. The Kepler maze will be open daily, Oct. 1 until Oct. 31, 2011.
In addition to the maze, opening day activities will include representatives from NASA speaking about space exploration, and remarks by Deborah Feng, acting deputy center director of NASA Ames. The event also has numerous other activities, including an aerial ropes course, zip lines, train rides and more. The Dell’Osso Family Farm is located at 501 Manthey Road in Lathrop, Calif., near Tracy, about 72 miles east of Mountain View, Calif. 12:00 p.m. – Welcome from Deborah L. Feng, acting deputy director of NASA’s Ames Research Center
12:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – Sustaining Life in Space: Regenerative Spacecraft Life Support Systems.

1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – Kepler, the Planet Seeker. Speakers: Dr. Steve Howell and Dr. Steve Bryson
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Guest appearance and autograph signing by Astronaut Yvonne Cagle, M.D.
